Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride

[ English ]

black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you grow your profit, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom falls out.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a roller coaster the similarities are alarming. As is the case with the popular fairground ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for awhile before it bottoms out one more time. Of course you have to be a bettor who can readjust to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.

If you like the small coaster, a coaster that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not naturally recall how much you enjoyed the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will always remember that devastating fall as clear as day.
