Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster
Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a wild ride. It’s a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom collapses.
black jack is so similar to a rollercoaster the similarities are ghastly. As is the case with the popular fair ground ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for a time before it bottoms out once again. You have to be a gambler who can adjust well to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is packed full of them.
If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on board for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster roller coaster because they are not mentally processing the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you may not recount how much you enjoyed the good life while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride and your head in the clouds. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t remember how "high up" you went but you will clearly recount that mortifying drop as clear as day.
